It is not just a cat that you are talking about with every step that it takes; while it goes up and the time it takes to come back to the ground, the sheer ooze that exhibits from the very aura of this creature is hard to depict in words and the ticking fur of this mystic creature makes it something to behold; as it gives it an exotic look that catches hearts and blow you out of yourself and you for a split second can’t figure out whether the world of reality has evaporated somewhere or you are literally in a fiction. The impression that Abyssinian aka Aby convey in sheer oblivion while in its standing state that the lithe and grace with long slim legs overwhelms one with a magical spell that it seems that it’s on tiptoes.
Though the name reminds of Ethiopia because of Abyssinia but the genetics of this cat breed shows that its origin lies back in coast of Indian Ocean. But to the contrary of these all most of the famous things said about this cat relates it to the Egypt because of the bronzes, paintings and the agouti coated cats found buried in the tombs of the Pyramids of
Egypt. It is the most popular breed of cat with shorthair with slender legs fairly long tail, broad at the base and tapering to a point which you would often see it trying to catch while turning round and round with face towards the tail. It has almond shaped eyes that come in different colors gold, green, hazel or copper. The most astonishing factor regarding its physique is the “M” that is formed on its forehead it is called the frown lines and they are affectionately called Mascara Lines as well. Another factor which distinguishes it makes it the favorite is the Tickling fur that is layered by color; as we take different strands from different places it reveals that they all have different colors. The colors in the Abyssinian breed have been developed from its original form; they are Sorrel (yellowish, brown), Blue Abyssinians (beige base with blue ticking), Fawn Abyssinians light (light-cream base color with darker cream ticking) and Ruddy.
Aby are very active and they are darling of the family and they just want their share in every activity, Aby will help you if you are even dialing your phone, read the newspaper with you and even ready your bed; they quickly form bonds with humans and once made then it is the best companion you’ve ever had as it protects you even if it senses some danger coming to you let alone playing with
you all the time or greeting you when you come back to home and the pleasantries to finish even some times take 10-15 minutes. They are no way lap cats they are extrovert, active and playful; all they need is activity, therefore they are best considered for kids to play with as they don’t even need a lot of maintenance requiring only occasional combing of the coat to reduce hairballs and diet should include something they can chew to help clean teeth and gums (such as raw chicken necks). Most of the cats live the same average age that is between 15-18 years that equal to the human life of 97 years. They usually cost $200 to $400 and the expensive ones can cost up to $900.
